Meet our Doctors
Dr. Micall Godderidge
Dr. Godderidge graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She was born in Alpine, Utah and moved to Heber City, Utah at the age of 7. She was raised on a farm amidst horses, mules, dogs, goats, cats, and chickens. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Science from Utah State University with minors in Chemistry and Biology. Dr. Godderidge then continued on to Washington for Veterinary School.
In 2021 Dr. Godderidge and her husband purchased Traverse Mountain Pet Care. It has been a long wish to own her own practice. She lives with her husband, 3 children, and 2 dogs, drahthaars named Sioux and Deets. Outside of practice she loves to spend time with her family skiing, riding mules, camping, hiking, running, riding bikes and playing golf.
Dr. Mandy Langston
Dr. Langston graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She was born in Hurricane, Utah and moved to Ferron, Utah at the age of 6. She grew up on a small farm with horses,
dogs, and cats. She was salutatorian of her graduating class at Emery High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Science from Utah State University with minors in Chemistry and Biology.
Dr. Langston always knew she’d return to Utah after veterinary school due to her love of the mountains. She enjoys riding horses, camping, exploring on her RZR, and spending time with her family. She lives in
South Jordan with her husband, stepson, and Goldendoodle.
Dr. Katie Bresnahan
Dr. Bresnahan grew up in a small town in New Hampshire and from a young age knew she wanted to become a doctor and heal animals of all shapes and sizes. Later, she graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She then attended the WIMU regional program
of Washington State and Utah State University and graduated in the class of 2020.
Dr. Bresnahan is certified in mixed animal acupuncture from the Chi Institute. She is passionate about integrating Western and Eastern medical approaches to give her patients the best possible outcomes. Her other interests include rehabilitation medicine and nutrition.
In her free time she enjoys hiking, trail running, and endurance horseback riding. When she is not out exploring the beauties of Utah, she can be found reading a good book and cuddling with her cat, Deaglan.
Dr. Michael Leonard
Dr. Leonard was born and raised in Washington state. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University in business administration with an emphasis in management and marking. He worked for several years in retail management before deciding to return to school to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. He earned his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Washington State University.
After graduating, he moved to Utah to be closer to family. He is the father to two young boys. He also adopted a small mixed breed dog named Luna. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, running, cycling, and creating stained glass art.
Our Receptionists
Liz
Liz grew up in rural Pennsylvania and has always had a love for animals. Over the years her home has been a haven for big dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, and freshwater fish. Currently, Bear—a Great Pyrenees—warms her feet at night and watches over six cats, a couple of tanks of fish, visiting grandchildren and Liz’s husband, Scott. Liz enjoys gardening, directing her local church choir, crocheting, time with family, and is passionate about genealogy and family history research.
Emily
Emily has been with Traverse Mountain Pet Care since January 2022. She has worked in the veterinary industry for almost 2 years. She has always had a love for all animals, but especially large breed dogs and rescue kitties. She grew up in Bountiful with a weimaraner and a cat, and even did an internship with a Vet in high school. Currently, she lives in Lehi with her 2 Great Danes, Bella and Venus, and 3 cats, Cabo, Rosie, and Frankie.
Bree
Bree has worked in the veterinary field for 7 years. She loves being able to greet every cute dog and kitty that comes through our doors. She was raised in Utah and is now raising her own family with the help of her high school sweetheart. She has four amazing kids who love animals just as much! She and her family of 3 awesome dogs: a doberman name Bruce, and boxer named Maggie, and a chihuahua mix named Misty. She loves camping, bowling, and remodeling her house.
Karen
Karen was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and raised in Orem. She started working as a veterinary receptionist in 2021. Karen has always loved animals of all shapes and sizes, as well as talking with people, so a veterinary receptionist seemed like the perfect fit. Karen has 2 German Shepherds, Boomer and Blitzy, who she loves more than anything. All 3 enjoy long car rides, walks, and hikes. Karen also enjoys cooking and baking and is great at both!
Gina
Gina was born and raised in California. She attended Pima Medical Institute where she received her veterinary assistant certification. Gina has been in the veterinary field for over 10 years. Several of those years were in canine reproduction where she also did veterinary assistant work. She has always had a passion for animals. She has a yorkie named Princess that is her world, she also has a beta fish named Ocean. In her spare time, she enjoys outings with her family or crocheting.
Our Vet Techs
Cindy
Cindy started working for us in February of 2016. After raising her two young boys she has decided to re-enter the work she loves as a veterinary technician. Cindy has several years of previous experience working at other clinics before starting her family. She is from Spanish Fork where she grew up farming and raising cattle. She and her family love the outdoors; camping, fishing, 4-wheeling and snowmobiling. Being raised on the farm she loves all animals, especially her two family dogs, a Yorkshire named Lilly and a Yellow Lab named Harley.
Jessica P.
Jessica has been working as a Veterinary Technician for over 12 years, 10 of which have been part of this team. She was raised in the great outdoors of Jackson, Wyoming until she moved to Utah in 2004. Once here in Utah, she found her niche in life with the combination of nursing and her love of animals. Her interests and specialties are in surgery assisting and dentistry. She goes above and beyond for clients while taking care of their hospitalized animals with updated photos and personalized care. Outside of work Jessica enjoys camping, hiking and attending her son Zayden’s sports activities.
Chawnee
Chawnee has been working as a certified veterinarian technician since 2005, she graduated from Broadview University with an associates in Veterinary Technology and passed as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has always had a love of animals and medicine and enjoys the opportunity to do both and help the furry side of the family. When she is not working, she enjoys hiking with her 2 dogs, Dill and Sora, or hanging out at home with her 2 cats, and her many plants.
Erin
Erin is currently halfway through her veterinary technology degree. She has one dog, a lab named Ginger, and one cat, Charlie. She loves camping, hiking, and being anywhere with her dog. She is very outgoing and adventurous, and she also loves watching movies cuddled up in her blankets and pets.
Laura
Laura has been a veterinary technician for several years and loves being able to help animals. While she adores all animals, she is a pushover for the giant breeds. She currently has 2 Saint Bernard’s, Parker and Max, and 2 Border Collies, Metaya and Tahlassi. She also has guinea pigs, sugar gliders, geckos and two cats named Karen and Nancy.. When Laura is not working, she enjoys taking long road trips with her pups and sometimes Karen. She is up for anything as long as she can take her dogs along.
Payton
Payton has grown up in Utah and has always had a passion and love for animals. She graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Dairy and Veterinary Science. Payton started working with our team in July of 2022. She loves spending her free time with her husband and family outdoors. She currently has a cat, box turtle, chameleon, betta fish, aquatic frog and shrimp at home and she loves all of them!
Darbilyn
Darbilyn started working in the veterinary field in 2020 and can’t see herself doing anything else. She has always wanted to work with animals. When she was a kid she would play doctor with her stuffed animals- wrapping up their broken limbs for instance. She has 2 rescues of her own: Simba, a Husky/Pyranese mix, and Nala, her cat. She’ll jump at any opportunity to take a trip to any amusement park and loves to be outside camping with her family and friends.
Taylor
Taylor spent her last semester of high school at Lone Peak doing a work release program with us. After she graduated in 2022, she wanted to continue working with us as an employee. Taylor currently helps with patient care and enjoys getting more experience in the field. She has two dogs: an Old English Sheepdog and a Sheepadoodle.
